At Mosterton Preschool, our dedicated and caring team is at the heart of everything we do. Each member of staff is committed to supporting the development, wellbeing and happiness of every child in our care. We create strong, nurturing relationships that help children feel secure and confident, enabling them to thrive in their early learning journey.
Our team works closely together to provide rich, meaningful experiences that support children’s social, emotional and educational development. Through encouragement, guidance and genuine enthusiasm, we help each child grow in confidence, independence and curiosity, ensuring they are ready for the next stage of their learning.
Every member of staff has first aid training.
Charlotte Beale
Preschool Manager
My name is Charlotte and I have been working with children aged 0 to 5 years for
over 14 years. I have achieved my level 3 and a degree level 5 during my career. I
love seeing children grow as individuals with their own personalities blossoming. Its
lovely to be part of their development and learning journey over the years.
During the summer months, I enjoy exploring national trust sites with my husband
and daughter and wrapping up in the winter for beach walks!
I love crafting and creating, there is always glitter and glue around our house.
I am very excited to meet you and your families and start building new relationships
with you all.
Danielle Goodhew
Bank Staff
Hi, I’m Danielle! I’ve recently joined Mosterton Preschool as bank staff. I love that no two days are the same, watching the children learn, grow and achieve things they never thought possible, seeing their little personalities shine and most importantly having fun along the way is what it’s all about so their schooling days are full of memories they forever cherish!
Outside of preschool, I’m proud mum of two children, a fiancée, and have two cats and a dog!

Level 3 Practitioner and SEN Lead
I'm Lorna. I'm a level 3 practitioner and have worked in Early years for many years. There are many favourite things to do with the children such as storytelling, puzzles and being outdoors. I live locally with my children and my little sausage dog named Sizzles
Vicky Ellis
Level 3 Practitioner
Hi I'm Vicky.
I'm level 3 qualified and have been working as a practitioner for about 15 years .I have also attended many CPD courses to support and develop my own knowledge and skills.
My favourite part of my job is the time I spend engaging with the children, helping them all grow and develop, sharing their experiences and interests and providing a wide range of activity to support this each day.
My personal interests include reading, attending exercise classes and spending as much time as possible with my family and friends.

I joined Mosterton preschool in September 2025, previously I completed my level 3 early years and have had a career in childcare for several years. I enjoy watching the children reach their milestones and watching them grow through the year. I live in crewkerne with my partner and our daughter who is due in March 2026.

Bank Staff
I have worked at Mosterton preschool as a bank staff member for over 10 years. I love watching the children develop and grow into confident school children. I am married with two grown up children and live on a small farm, i enjoy walking, reading, growing produce in my garden and being with the animals.
Zoe Rutland
Finance and Administration Officer
Hello, I’m Zoe and I began working for Mosterton Preschool in January 2024. I have been working as an accountant for the past 22 years so starting in the role as finance manager seemed like a great fit. It’s been great learning new skills and looking at the financial workings of a preschool! I really enjoy working in finance and being part of the team that helps this preschool flourish is great. My personal interests are reading, escape rooms, spa days, and spending time with my family and friends.
